CLIENT: Big Red Soda, a popular soda brand in the Southern US.
OBJECTIVE/GOALS: To reinforce the brand, increase awareness and drive sales to retail locations by:
- Generating media coverage of Texas’ favorite Big Red Soda, America’s original and best-selling red soda
- Leveraging key events and holidays to create timely media opportunities. i.e.,
- Football Season
- BBQ Season Kick-off
- Hiring key spokespeople to serve as brand ambassadors
- Supporting POS marketing initiatives by elevating the brand
FOOTBALL SEASON
- Hired Dallas Cowboys Taco Charlton to be the brand ambassador for the 2017 football season and hosted two meet and greet fan events at top Kroger grocery locations, one of their largest retailers
- Big Red Soda is a Texas icon, especially in the Latino community so the taco tie-in was a perfect fit
BARBEQUE SEASON KICK-OFF
- Since Big Red Soda is renowned to pair well with barbecue, we partnered with Hardcore Carnivore and Big Red fan Jess Pryles to kick off a “100 Days of BBQ” summer promotion
- To broaden the brands reach, we conducted a NYC desk-side media tour taking Jess Pryles to top-tier national press outlets for interviews and cooking demonstrations
- Hosted press meet and greet event at Hill Country BBQ NYC
